Artist : Rabin Sharma

Voicemaster and veteran Radio Nepal host, a representative third-generation singer of Nepali Adhunik (modern), Rabin started his musical career during 1980s. His first recording dates back to 1978 with Neer Shah’s Merai Srijana in CK Rasaili’s tune. Since then, he has recorded numerous songs including some of the best of Nepali modern songs like Timi Yasai Lajayau, Juni Juni lai, Harsha le maan mero, Afailai bhar bhayo, Ainai ainako rahecha, to name a few.
His most popular amongst his audience and critiques is the Laxmi Prashad Deokota’s Yatri (Kuun mandirma janchau yaatri…). The song was recorded in Ranjeet Gajmer’s music for an acclaimed Nepali film – Basudev starring Harihar Sharma.
Since last 15 years he has been more engaged in media (Radio Jockey) than music scene.
