Bhajhan Siromani “Bhakta Raj Acharya” is a name in Nepali music industry who lead the music industry as the leading modern singer along with other genre of music. His songs were about love and betrayal, beautiful and bittersweet. Songs like “Mutu jali rahecha”, “Jaha chan Buddha ka aankha”, “Hajar aankha herne” etc. are immortal in Nepali music.
He was honored remembering all his contributions to the old melodies archives of Nepali music. He was honored by Swami Narayanacharya Shruti Samman – 2067. Like any other artiste, Mr. Acharya also faced a lot of difficulties in the initial stage of his career. Like his professional life, his personal life also had a lot of complications. Bhakta Raj Acharya had two sons, Satya Raj Acharya (singer/composer) and Swoorup Raj Acharya(singer/composer) who are following the footsteps of their father and exploring in this field.
