Heard but not heard of” could be the right introduction to composer poet Bhim Birag. Numerous popular numbers sung by the great Narayan Gopal fall under Birag’s creation. Few to name would be – Timile pani ma jasto, Aja Bholi harek sanjh
Because of his contribution to Nepali Music and literature he has been honoured by prestigious National awards like, ChinnaLata (2043 BS), Nepal Rastriya Prativa (2056 BS), Prabal Gorakha Dakshin Baahu, Fourth, 2027BS, Gaddhi Aarohan Rajat Mahotshav Padak (2053BS) etc.
